UAE bus services cover intercity routes between emirates, airport connections, and city networks in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. All public buses in Dubai operate under the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and require a Nol Card for payment. Abu Dhabi city buses require a Hafilat Card. Cash is not accepted on any UAE public bus service.

Payment Cards for UAE Buses
Two separate cards cover UAE public transport. The Nol Card is issued by the Roads and Transport Authority and works on all Dubai buses, the metro, and intercity services including the E101 and AUH Express. The Hafilat Card covers Abu Dhabi city buses and is not interchangeable with the Nol Card.
